Great writing for good people.

Hi there, I’m Bailey.

After spending years working for advertising agencies, I admitted my heart wasn’t in it. I wanted to tell stories that connected people, to create for those creating a better world, and to write in a way that wouldn’t let small businesses, nonprofits or great causes go ignored. So, I took my copywriting skills and set out on a mission to create great work for great people doing great things in the world.

Sound like you?

What’s your story?

Better yet, what’s your why?

The words you use and the way you use them tell your clients, customers and donors a lot about you. With a professional copywriter by your side, you can rest assured that you’re sending all the right messages. We’ll start by digging into your “why” and then make sure the heart behind your business is evident in every word we write.

Three ways to work with me.

You can hire me to write.

You’re already wearing one too many hats, and lucky for you, copywriting is one I wear well. Hand it to me (along with a few project details) and you can consider your project delegated and done.

Hourly rate starts at $100. Nonprofits, please inquire for a discounted rate.

You can hire me to speak.

Copywriting and creativity are two of my favorite topics, and I’d love to talk about them with you. In my “Do I Have Your Attention?” workshop, we’ll walk through my copywriting process and you’ll walk away feeling informed, confident, and ready to write.

Pricing is based on conference or company size and starts at $500. The workshop is one hour.

A fresh carafe of pour over coffee brews.

You can hire me to guide.

Prefer to write it yourself? I respect it, and I’m making downloadable guides just for you. Stay tuned—they’re coming soon!

Wait, what exactly is copywriting?

Great question! I define copywriting as creative writing put through a strategic lens. That means it’s my job to write words that both entertain your clients and encourage them to take action.

Let’s say you’re a candlemaker launching a new line of scents. A copywriter will help you find a creative way to communicate your launch. (“Smells Soy Good: New seasonal scents are poured and ready for purchase.”) We’ll also make sure that your readers’ click “add to cart.” (“Buy now, burn later.”)

Now, you may need copywriting for a plethora of mediums. Here are a few that have crossed my desk:

People talk.

Here’s what they’re saying.

“Bailey is such a joy to work with and seamlessly jumped into supporting copy on the charity: water team. Her positive attitude, consistent communication, and ability to deliver excellence on tight deadlines has proven so integral to our team. I almost asked her to edit this testimonial - that's how great she is!”

“I had a very specific vision for how I wanted my chiropractic practice to sound and feel. Bailey captured that vision perfectly. I actually cried when she presented me with the final product. To this day, her copy helps guide my vision for my practice and gives my website polish and a competitive edge.”
