A Weekend for Water
charity: water is known for hosting stunning donor events, but A Weekend for Water raised the bar. For the first time, we brought all major annual events under one umbrella. We also previewed the new Experience Lab. And, we invited everyone — from Well members to kids. An event of this scale needed a unifying brand, and that’s where our small but ambitious team stepped in.
Together, we shaped the weekend's overall branding and the identity of each individual event. As Lead Copywriter, I developed the overarching narrative while also crafting all communication details — from naming signature cocktails (“Extra Credit,” a nod to our goal of funding school water projects) to writing the executive speeches. In the end, A Weekend for Water hosted 300 guests, funded clean water for more than 26,000 students, and raised $2.9M overall.
